Recently, Filipino Teenagers are into Korean Drama. Also, some grew interest in K-Pop bands recently (I won’t mention any names because of the obvious titles and band names).

What do you guys think? Is this another Fad for Filipinos? Or they are actually interested on their culture?

I am not being a racist or a picky know-it-all jerk. But seriously, do you watch or listen to Korean Culture just for the sake it’s the current Fad?

Did you watch it because the guys are hearthrobs and girls are too cute to resist?

Did you listen to their music because Sandara Park is in it?

Did you listen to their music because you want to be in the in crowd and ride with the current trend?

Well in my case… I have been watching Korean shows for a long time (Arirang TV) and listening to their music for many years now (I can mention a lot of band names and singers too). Also, I am well aware of Korea’s current state. Meaning, I actually care about their culture.

Now, here’s the big question…

Do you only watch Korean Shows just because they are dubbed in your own dialect?

Do you actually comprehend their culture?

I hope for clear and honest answer, because some forums and discussion boards beg to differ.

Also, some are disappointed because others say Filipinos are too overly dramatic and suckers when it comes to pretty boys and cute girls? Agree or Agree? I meant Disagree…
